Personal Training

Personal Training is available for all members who are interested in benefiting from a more individualized workout. Personal trainers provide an outside edge to helping you obtain your fitness goals. All personal trainers are knowledgeable in safe exercise practices, effective program design, and can help keep you motivated and stay on track.

  • All trainers possess accredited personal training and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
  • Only personal trainers contracted with EXOS can be used in the Wellness Center. Outside personal trainers are not allowed.
  • For safety and liability reasons, members are not allowed to train other members.

Personal Trainers

Andrew Schumacher, NASM-CPT - email 

Andrew is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, CrossFit Level 1 certified with an Exercise Science Degree from OKWU. Andrew has been a trainer since 2005 and has worked with many individuals including youth, seniors, post rehab and various sports teams. Sessions are based on your personal goals.

Zack Loyd - email

Zack is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, EXOS Health and Fitness Specialist, and former collegiate athlete, with an Exercise Science Degree from Southern Nazarene University.  Zack started at both linebacker and defensive end for SNU, and has valuable experience working with sports teams, athletes, rehab patients, adults, and youth.  His training philosophy centers around pushing his clients to become the best they can be while also enjoying the process.  Sessions are based on clients individual needs and tailored to meet their specific goals. 

Katie Vaughn - email

Katie is an EXOS Exercise Fitness Specialist as well as a Red Cross certified Lifeguard, and certified through FiTour for Group Exercise. She graduated from Oklahoma City University with a degree in Human Performance. A lifelong soccer player and collegiate athlete, she has played many positions and her team won the Conference Championship her senior year at Oklahoma City University. She has done many internships in college including Bartlesville YMCA, Elder Care in Bartlesville, and Oklahoma City University Strength and Conditioning facility. Katie’s training style is more focused on muscular endurance and body weight exercises. With every training session, her goal is to push the client to the best of their ability.

Jarrod Johnson, ACE-CPT - email

Jarrod is an American Council on Exercise Certified Personal Trainer, middle school science teacher, junior high football coach, and a volunteer YMCA basketball coach in Bartlesville, OK. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Nutrition. Jarrod has always had a passion for health and fitness, which started at a very young age. He enjoys showing people that fitness is for everyone, no matter what your starting point is. Sessions are all based on client preference and individual goals.
