I joined in 2017 as the Assistant Program Manager and then moved into the Program Manager position in 2018. During my time I have enjoyed both engagement with members and fellow staff. One of the greatest enjoyments I have with my current role is the development and training of staff to help them reach their full potential. Every day is different and unique which makes work fun and exciting. My wife and I have twin girls, a boy and two Golden Doodle dogs and we enjoy spending time traveling and camping together as a family.

Certifications- Exos Fitness Specialist, Red Cross Lifeguard

I started in August of 2019 as a Health Fitness Specialist. I greatly enjoyed that position as it gave me many diverse avenues to serve the Wellness Center members. Promoting the health and well-being of individuals through physical exercise, conducting fitness testing and assessments, and developing personal exercise programs were just a few of the fantastic opportunities that I was afforded in that position. In June of 2020, I moved into the role of Assistant Program Manager/Recreation Coordinator. In this position I support the Wellness Center Program Manager by performing various administrative duties associated with facility operations in addition to building and implementing recreational programs to engage Wellness Center members in a wide variety of ways. I am extraordinarily fortunate to be a part of the team that I work with and look forward to each and every day at work. I am not only committed to a career in fitness but also exhibit that same commitment in my personal life. My wife and I regularly take hiking trips around Oklahoma and we have both recently become quite dedicated to the combat sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

I was born and raised in the Kansas City area. Growing up I loved sports and I always wanted to be involved in athletics. As I got older, I shifted my focus solely onto basketball, always striving to be great. I was blessed for my diligence and accomplished many goals that I set out to do, including winning the state championship during my sophomore year. Going into college, I decided to take a step back from being an athlete and look for a career in the fitness world instead. What I enjoy most about my role here in the Wellness Center is training others to be the best version of themselves. I also greatly appreciate the variety that each day brings. I can’t wait to see what my future has in store for me.

With over five years of personal training and coaching experience, I’ve helped a variety of clients achieve their sports and wellness-related goals. I love instructing group fitness classes and working with my peers to provide our Wellness Center members a safe, welcoming environment in which to exercise. In my free time, I love walking with my wife and playing with my daughter, as well as lifting weights, playing tennis and playing pickleball.

B.S in Sports Management from Western Michigan University

Certification: Red Cross Lifeguard

I was born in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I started playing tennis at the age of 6, where I went on to become ranked # 76 in the nation in the girls 18 and under division. On a 4-year tennis scholarship, I attended Western Michigan University, where I went on to win many awards including a sportsmanship award and a player of the year award. Tennis was my life until I graduated college and started looking for a career. While exploring different career opportunities that weren’t a match for me, I came across an open position at the Wellness Center. This position fit everything I was looking for in my profession. From the start I have really enjoyed everything about this job including everyone I work with and the members. My main job duties include lifeguarding, helping get the facility set up for the different activities and events we offer, tend to member concerns, and do everything I can to keep the facility in order. In my free time I love painting, hanging out with my wonderful boyfriend, cooking, and trying to create my own cookbook.

B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Randall University

Certification: Exos Fitness Specialist

I started in November of 2017 and greatly enjoy my role as a Health Fitness Specialist. The best part about working in this facility is how much my knowledge in fitness is expanding from working with my colleagues and helping members. I enjoy exercise, it is part of my daily routine. I play soccer throughout the week and maintain an active lifestyle by participating in running events such as 5k races and obstacle runs.

Administration Associate Wellness Center Services

I joined the Wellness Center in fall of 2018, my job is unique just like the population and offerings in Bartlesville. What I love most about my job is that I never know what each day will bring. My job focus is reporting, signage, and assisting with various reservations in the Wellness Center. When I am not at work, I spend my time going on adventures with my nieces, working with the assortment of animals on my family’s ranch and learning about different time periods as well as cultures through reading and research.
