Personal training is available for all members who are interested in benefiting from a more individualized workout. Personal trainers are able to create specialized programs based on participant goals. All trainers are knowledgeable in safe exercise practices, effective design, and can help keep you on track.
- All trainers possess accredited personal training and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications.
- Only personal trainers contracted with EXOS can be used in the Wellness Center. Outside personal trainers are not allowed.
- For safety and liability reasons, members are not allowed to train other members.

Personal Exercise Program
Personal Exercise Programs are open to all members. A Personal Exercise Program (PEP) appointment is an opportunity for members to meet one-on-one with a Wellness Center staff member to create a personalized workout using specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely goals. Together you will discuss your goals and walk through a customized workout that is tailored to meet your goals. Below are some of the Wellness Center’s trainers specializing in programming. Virtual PEP Trainers
Olukayode Ojo (Kay Kay) Email
Kay Kay has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a slight background in athletic training. He has previous experience working with a variety of different populations. He has worked as a strength and conditioning intern where he helped athletes improve their abilities. He worked with patients who have a history of cancer and other debilitating diseases and helped improve their quality of life. His overall goal is to help you be comfortable with exercise, but also help you surpass your fitness goals.

Cesar Carrillo, NASM-CPT Email
Cesar Carrillo has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and is a certified personal trainer. His past experiences include coaching youth, general population, and athletes from all ages. Cesar’s training specialty consists of strength training, sports-specific training, powerlifting and general fitness. He is currently working towards his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy with a purpose of re-educating people on pain science, plus coupling rehab and weightlifting in a sports therapeutic setting. Cesar’s goal is to establish positive and realistic relationships with exercise and provide guidance in achieving your fitness goals.
Krystel Velez-Martinez, M.A., ACE-CPT Email
Krystel is a certified personal trainer with her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Master of Arts in Sport & Fitness Administration degrees from the University of Houston. She has previously worked with athletes from various backgrounds, ranging from student athletes to Spartan race training. Her goal is to inspire people to be the best and healthiest version of themselves.
Nancy Andres, Ph.D., NASM‑CPT, CES, PES, CNC Email
Nancy is a certified personal trainer with expertise in biomechanics, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement. With a background in biomedical research, she combines scientific training with practical coaching to help clients improve mobility, strength, and overall well‑being. Her approach focuses on teaching efficient movement patterns and creating programs that support long‑term, sustainable progress.
Brenda Means, NASM‑CPT Email
Brenda is a self proclaimed gym junkie who is a certified personal trainer with multiple health and wellness coaching certifications. She has a background in functional medicine and nutrition and uses holistic approaches to transforming bodies, minds and behaviors.
